Lesson program

All the theoretical knowledge you need to pass the exam can be found in the included study book and study guide. You will be asked to review several chapters before each lesson so you are familiar with what will be discussed. We recommend setting aside approximately two hours per week to study the course material. The study book is not extensive, but it is very condensed. Almost everything it contains is relevant knowledge, and therefore there is a considerable amount of information to absorb.

FAQs

Can I make up a lesson?

Our wine courses are almost always full, so it can sometimes be difficult to make up a lesson. At the same time, some students often can't attend all the lessons. It's usually possible to get one person to make up a missed lesson, but for two people at the same time, it's more challenging.

You'll find an overview of all courses and dates on our website. Check when your missed class is being taught in a different group and contact us during the week of that class. We'll let you know if there's room for you.

Can I park nearby?

There is ample parking nearby at both locations.

Paid parking until 11 p.m. in the streets surrounding the location.

Can I reserve a spot?

You're guaranteed a spot once payment is complete. Registration is easy through our website.

If you can't pay all at once but would still like to participate, please send us an email and we'll explore the options together.

In 2016, I, Nadien de Visser, founded Le Club des Vins. The idea originated five years earlier, when I went to study in France—where else? I went to study business administration and fell in love with wine. That first sip of rosé under the Provençal sun changed my life. I had to know more. And so it happened. I've since graduated from the Wine Academy and dream of becoming a Master of Wine (should I...?). I've been teaching for over nine years.

But I don't do it alone. Coen van der Burgt, Anouk Rutten, Bram Faber, and Matthijs van de Walle, among others, also teach for Le Club des Vins.
