May 4 - Sherry lunch
Sherry is the ultimate food wine, and there are fantastic food pairings to be made that will blow you away. That's what we'll be exploring on May 4, 2025. We're pulling out all the stops for a sherry and food pairing extravaganza.
The exact menu will remain a secret for now. For those who really can't wait, check out this video of our previous sherry lunch for a sneak peek. During my many trips to the sherry region, from the 2023 Copa Jerez to the presentation by flavor expert François Chartier on molecular harmonies (say what?), I've tasted extensively and taken countless notes.
JUNI
April 12 - Braai & South Africa
We're firing up the barbecue! And what better way to serve it than the best South Africa has to offer? We'll kick things off with a Cap Classique, as is fitting. Then we'll move on to the country's most important white grape: Chenin Blanc. We're thinking something from David & Nadia. Of course, a nice Chardonnay is a must. We'll also be exploring the new voice of the Pinot Noir, and we won't forget Pinot Noir either.
April 13 - Boekenhoutskloof vs. France
It's time for Boekenhoutskloof – a top estate from South Africa. Beginning wine drinkers will likely be familiar with the Chocolate Block, a serious punch that blows many enthusiasts away. Seasoned wine enthusiasts will immediately reach for Porcelain Mountain, a unique schist hill in the heart of Swartland. Here, vigneron Callie Louw dedicates itself entirely to Syrah, with wines as impressive as the terroir itself. We'll compare these wines to their French counterparts: can we taste the origin?

12 juli - Vino & pintxos
Na een aantal geslaagde edities, doen we er nog eentje in hartje zomer. We gaan weer pintxos proeven! Een paar jaar geleden reisden Nadien en Jelle af naar Baskenland en raakten in de ban van de pintxos. Pintxos zijn de tapas van het Baskenland en de barretjes in San Sebastian en Bilbao staan er vol mee.
Tijdens deze proeverij krijg je 7 spannende pintxos uit de keuken van Walsjérôt met 7 wijnen uit Spanje.
