This December, we're going all out with wines that are on many bucket lists. Over the years, we've collected some special bottles, and on December 13th and 14th, we'll be opening them. An afternoon to remember. Click here for the lineup.

MAART
1 maart - Deep Dive Deutschland
Het viel me op dat ik nog nooit een proeverij heb gedaan om de wijnen van onze oosterburen te vieren. Wat is dat voor iets raars? Tijd om daar verandering in de brengen, want deze wijnen zijn geweldig. We pakken een paar klassiekers, denk aan Egon Muller, en een paar jonge talenten, denk aan Carsten Saalwächter en Moritz Kissinger. Natuurlijk sluiten we af met iets zoets.

8 maart - Sherry lunch
Sherry is dé ultieme eetwijn, en er zijn geweldige wijnspijscombinaties te maken die je omver zullen blazen. We trekken alles uit de kast voor een sherry & food pairing extravaganza.

15 maart - Chili vs. de rest
Jelle en Nadien waren afgelopen maand in Chili en zijn daar enorm verrast door het nieuwe geluid. Jawel, die "honda nueva" raast ook door Chili. Die dikke cabernets en carmenères laten we links liggen, we zoeken frisheid en verfijning. Onze favoriete Chileense wijnen zetten we naast hun equivalent uit Europa (we weten nog niet precies welke, maar denk aan Rhône, Bourgogne en misschien ook Baden).
APRIL
April 12 - Braai & South Africa
We're firing up the barbecue! And what better way to serve it than the best South Africa has to offer? We'll kick things off with a Cap Classique, as is fitting. Then we'll move on to the country's most important white grape: Chenin Blanc. We're thinking something from David & Nadia. Of course, a nice Chardonnay is a must. We'll also be exploring the new voice of the Pinot Noir, and we won't forget Pinot Noir either.
April 13 - Boekenhoutskloof vs. France
It's time for Boekenhoutskloof – a top estate from South Africa. Beginning wine drinkers will likely be familiar with the Chocolate Block, a serious punch that blows many enthusiasts away. Seasoned wine enthusiasts will immediately reach for Porcelain Mountain, a unique schist hill in the heart of Swartland. Here, vigneron Callie Louw dedicates itself entirely to Syrah, with wines as impressive as the terroir itself. We'll compare these wines to their French counterparts: can we taste the origin?

May 4 - Sherry lunch
Sherry is the ultimate food wine, and there are fantastic food pairings to be made that will blow you away. That's what we'll be exploring on May 4, 2025. We're pulling out all the stops for a sherry and food pairing extravaganza.
The exact menu will remain a secret for now. For those who really can't wait, check out this video of our previous sherry lunch for a sneak peek. During my many trips to the sherry region, from the 2023 Copa Jerez to the presentation by flavor expert François Chartier on molecular harmonies (say what?), I've tasted extensively and taken countless notes.
