Afterwards the Fisherman
My name is Nadien de Visser and I'm the founder of Le Club des Vins. I became fascinated by wine while studying in France and never let go. Now I'm a Wine Academy member and have been teaching wine courses, tastings, and running the Fan Shop for over nine years.
Together with Jan Jaap Altenburg, I make a podcast called Le Club & Sommeljj de Podcast , where we chat about wine for an hour every other week. Wonderful!

Coen van der Burgt
From a background in hospitality, through a wine shop and various harvests in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, I—my name is Coen van der Burgt—have now "landed" in Rotterdam. "Landed" with a caveat, though, because the wine regions continue to draw me .
Every month, I share my favorite wines in a WhatsApp group that now has over 400 members. Starting in 2026, I'll have to get to work, because I've been accepted into The Institute of Masters of Wine.

Bram Faber
After more than fifteen years as a (maître) sommelier at the finest (Michelin-star) restaurants, I, Bram Faber, decided three years ago to leave the hospitality industry behind. Since then, I've worked as a wine consultant and hospitality account manager at Wijnkoperij Platenburg in Rotterdam. I also regularly lead wine courses and tastings.
In 2025 I was admitted to the Magister Vini program, so I will be studying hard in the coming period.

Anouk Rutten
My name is Anouk Rutten, and I delved into the world of wine about ten years ago through the (Michelin) hospitality industry. After pouring quite a few glasses, I decided to try harvesting and making wine myself. What a joy it was in Priorat, Bordeaux, and the Mosel region.
Forever infected with the wine bug, I now love nothing more than talking about wine and hopefully inspiring others to do the same! Want to take a course at Le Club? :-)

Matthijs van de Walle
Matthijs van de Walle: I've been involved in the hospitality industry and wine my whole life. Twenty years ago, I graduated from Hotel Management School in The Hague, immersed myself in wine up to WSET3, and only then did I truly learn how to taste with various tasting groups.
I am also married to Mariëlle and together we have a daughter, Emma.

Angelica Driggs
Hi, I'm Angelica. I've been working as a gastronome sommelier for over twenty years—from Michelin-starred restaurants to beach clubs and brasseries. I'm now a WSET4 student and I'm happy to share what I've learned over the years.
I absolutely adore everything France has to offer. From classical to new music, I can't stop talking about food and drink, especially when it comes to wine.
What makes me different? I have a soft spot for well-made natural wines. But what exactly is that? And what makes a wine truly good? Want to learn more? Then come to Le Club.
