Which wine course do you choose?

WSET or SDEN? You might have come across these two course providers. Fun fact: Nadien, founder of Le Club des Vins, took both. Le Club des Vins offers both. You can choose for yourself. But which one should you choose?

The main difference is that SDEN focuses more on factual knowledge (what, where, how much) and WSET is more about practical insight (why, explain, connect).

Teachers

Le Club des Vins was founded by Nadien de Visser. Nadien de Visser obtained her DipWSET in 2021 and has been teaching wine courses for over nine years.

Nadien does not do it alone and has now been reinforced by a top team in Rotterdam, Utrecht and Schiedam.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make up a lesson?

Our wine courses are almost always full, so it can sometimes be difficult to make up a lesson. At the same time, some students often can't attend all the lessons. It's usually possible to get one person to make up a missed lesson, but for two people at the same time, it's more challenging.

You'll find an overview of all courses and dates on our website. Check when your missed class is being held in a different group and contact us during the week of that class. We'll let you know if there's room for you.

Can I reserve a spot?

You're guaranteed a spot once your payment is complete. Registration is easy through our website. If you're unable to pay all at once but would still like to participate, please send us an email and we'll discuss the options together.

Can I book a private course?

Yes, absolutely. We think that's a great way to spend time. Private courses are available for groups of 10 or more. Let us know your preferences, and we'll make you a proposal.

Le Club des Vins offers several SDEN2 and SDEN3 courses each year. The recipient will receive a gift certificate for a wine course with a start date of their choice and the course book in a package by mail.
